The volume is a collection of three (apparently) already publishedtexts, each with its own title page, table of contents, andpagination. The table of contents for all three is repeatedat the opening of the volume. All chapters are linked from the‘master’ table, but not from the redundant tables in the secondand third texts.

Minor errors, attributable to the printer, have been corrected. Pleasesee the transcriber’s note at the end of this textfor details regarding the handling of any textual issues encounteredduring its preparation.

The image of the blank front cover has been cleaned up and enhancedwith basic data from the title page, and, so modified, is placed in thepublic domain.
