It means a great dealof hard work, many anxioushours, some keen disappointments,yet those who are not in the thickof the fray will never know thegood times they have missed.Flashes of fun have been scatteredall along the way like flecks ofsunshine on a shaded path. Itwill seem very dull for a littlewhile after the vote is won andwomen get their rights, but theywill soon be able to make thingslively again and contribute as alwaysto the gayety of the nation.
