There are copious illustration, which have been moved to fall onparagraph breaks. Full page illustrations, which werepaginated, often fall in mid-paragraph in the original, and so would havebeen disruptive when moved. The pagination of the illustrations hastherefore been removed, and that of the text may contain gaps.

Some larger illustrations were rotated in mid-page. These arepresented as full page illustrations in the correct orientation.

A number of captions refer to the image as ‘Actual Size’. This isdifficult to substantiate and should be taken with a grain of salt.
