ABOUT THIS BOOK

More than four hundred years ago therelived a diligent man called Sir ThomasMalory, who wrote in English words manyof the beautiful Welsh tales about KingArthur’s Knights, that the people of Walesloved so well.

All the stories in this little book werefound in Malory’s big book, except ‘Geraintand Enid.’ But it, too, is one of the oldWelsh tales that tell of the brave knightsand fair ladies of King Arthur’s court.

Many times, since Sir Thomas Malorywrote his book, have these stories beentold again to old and young, but perhapsnever before have they been told to thechildren so simply as in this little book.

MARY MACGREGOR.
